 What We Did Last Year – Tako Lavo Sevens

Bula Ballers successfully hosted the Tako Lavo Sevens Tournament in Rakiraki. We were able to:

Accommodate all teams in nearby villages. Provide daily breakfast and dinner. Host educational workshops with coaches, mentors, and professionals. Ensure medical and referee support. Create a community event to build bonds.

 

The result? Grassroots athletes from the interior — made national news with their impact, many playing on a bigger stage for the first time — gained exposure, discipline, and a chance to shine.

 

 What’s Coming Next Year – Adding Tamaya Sevens

 

Looking ahead to 2026, we are expanding the vision. Alongside Tako Lavo, we will host the Tamaya Sevens Tournament in Yasawa including Womens netball. With your continued support, we will:

Reach Fiji’s outer islands, host this tournament to cover all Yasawa islands, provide accommodations, meals, life-changing workshops on rugby, education, financial literacy, and leadership, strengthen player pathway.
